Marriage licenses are only good for 30 days from date of application (the application date is printed on the license) You may return license in person to any branch or you may mail it to the address on your license envelope Marriage licenses issued in the state of Kentucky are applicable in all counties of Kentucky only.
Special Notes:
There must be 2 witnesses to the marriage ceremony in addition to the couple on the marriage license along with the officiant.
There are no residency or licensing requirements for Officiants to perform marriages in Kentucky.
Online ordination is generally considered sufficient for someone to officiate and sign the marriage license.
